Like so many good men from the East, Ian headed West. On his way to Alaska in 2006, Ian stopped into Jackson Hole and still hasn’t left. In the past eight years he has taught, guided, and explored in our magical valley with enthusiasm and wonder. An experienced adventurer, he has logged thousands of miles in the mountains and rivers of the world and is eager to share his experience and expertise with his clients. As an Environmental Educator, Ski Guide, and Whitewater Guide, Ian has shown time and time again that he knows where to have fun.
He has been described as the consummate conversationalist, just ask his wife Lora. Ian is a Wilderness First Responder, Level I Professional Ski Instructor, Level I Children’s Specialist, Level I Avalanche Certified, and Level IV Swiftwater Safety Certified.
